In this room there is a focus on school readiness skills (pre-reading, pre-number, pre-writing) and language skills (listening, questioning, interpreting, inferring, and concentration). Social skills (sharing, courtesy, group participation) and personal skills (self-esteem, confidence, perseverance, independence, self-help skills) are also actively promoted. We follow the Jolly Phonics Program, introducing a single phonic every week which assists with school preparation and pre literacy skills.

With a background in acting for children's theatre, I have a real passion for inspiring children through dramatic play. I believe in the power of the performing arts to spark imagination, build confidence and foster socio-emotional skills.
